Join with a link or QR

Send one invite to the group chat. Friends pick their name tag and they’re in the squad. Up to 12 per squad.

02

A meet point that works offline

Drop the meet point anywhere on the map. It’s saved to your phone, so it’s still there when the signal isn’t. Moved it? Everyone sees the change, and the old spot is marked “Moved”.

03

Your squad on your lock screen

A Live Activity shows the meet point, meet time and how many are HERE, with your squad sorted by distance to the meet point. Tap I’M HERE without opening the app.

Location is opt-in, per squad, and you can stop anytime. Friends’ spots always show an “As of” time — last known, not live.

Coming 2027: trip recording and team voice chat.

FAQ

What is Huddle?

An iOS app for friend squads on the mountain. Set a meet point, see who’s HERE, and regroup without a dozen texts. Ski first, starting at Whistler.

When can I try it?

Huddle comes to iPhone in December 2026, free. Waitlist members get the download link first. No Android yet.

Does Huddle track my location all the time?

No. You choose whether to share, squad by squad, and you can stop anytime. Friends’ spots show an “As of” time, so you always know how fresh they are.

What happens when there’s no signal?

Your meet point is saved on your phone and stays visible offline. If you tap I’M HERE with no signal, it sends when you’re back online. Friends’ spots show their last known position with a time.

Is Huddle a safety device?

No. Huddle helps friends regroup. It isn’t for avalanche, rescue or emergency use. Always carry proper gear and follow ski area rules.
